oxy/ace practice at school

I started welding school on tuesday. Here's some samples of oxy/ace welds.3/32 R-45 rod#1 torch tip.10psi of acetelyn20 psi oxygen.Neutral flame,sonI have never gas welded before this tuesday. It took me a while to get the hang of it, torch angle, the right amount of heat, distance from the flame to the base metal, adding enough filler rod. My instuctors seemed to like my results. Reply:Have never done it... but if it's anything like tig, you could probably work on your filler wire control. Learn how to "dab" it better. If that makes any sense.
