Removable Trailer Hitch Vice

I got tired of my vice sitting in the rain on the back of my trailer, so I decided to unbolt it and replace it with a female receiver and make the vice removable so i can keep it out of the weather.  I am also in the midst of making a manual tire changing pedestal which will utilize the same female hitch receiver.  Here is a video I made, which is kind of boring and slow, but so am I so enjoy!Lincoln Weldanpower AC/DCLincoln LN-25Miller WC-115a Miller Spoolmatic 30aCheck out my youtube TV Channel
Reply:Nice job and a very logical thing to do.   Kinda surprised more guys don't do the same.  Aside from keeping it out of the weather, it helps to keep it from eyesight and those that wouldn't think anything of helping themselves to the property of another.My shop bench (as well as those of many) are set up with receivers so that several different devices can be interchanged.  I also have a portable "receiver" stand for when working at the bench is too restrictive or not desired.  Both my pipe vises, regular vice and bench grinder are all set up this way so they can be stored out of the way when not in use or better yet, taken on the road if needed.A few of my examples:MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:Nice job on all. That receiver tubing is awesome stuff. Northern tool has it on sale if you guys didn't know.
