What Kind Of Old Welder Is This?

I picked this up today for $40 bucks from the local scrap man. Still works good and laid a good bead, It is an old 400 amp single phase welder, has crank on top, leads on bottom for high and low settings. Does anybody have one of these? or know what it is? It weighs about 300 LBS. I got it as you see it. Thanks Attached Images

Reply:Looks like a machine I used to run years ago, if its the same it is a AC machine only, I used to run 1/4" 7018 with it at about 300 amps if I remember right.I always tried to work with the oldest hand on the job to gain knowlege but now I can't find any.

Reply:Yea, I burned a 5/32 7018 on about 300 amps, The rod was smoking at the bottom. Ac only machine.
