Reply:I got the hood last friday, thanks Burnit!! Sooooo, after squeezing in time to actually read the instructions, I spent saturday night fitting up and running through the how-to's. I tried it this evening at home with the tig machine and was sorely dissappointed in the power of the new hood to improve my tig-hand......but after several attempts to dissuade myself from nodding before striking an arc, I thoroughly enjoyed the lightweight and unnoticeable switching speed of this, my first AD hood! Reply:Oh, it is a super hood, I have had probably half a dozen standard hoods, and this is the finest I have ever used. Compared to other AD hoods, I have no experience.  But before this offer came up, I had decided that if and when I got an electronic hood, it would be one of the better quality makes, either a Miller, or Speedglas, or maybe a Satellite Optrel.City of L.A.
