Oxy/Acet Kit

I am mostly a hobbyist but doing some on the side work as I build skills in tig/mig.. Looking for a oxy/acet kit mostly for cutting 1" or less, and for heating/forming..  What do you guys think of this kit?http://store.cyberweld.com/visurawecuou.htmlAlso, I'm buying some books and DVD's on safe use, but was wondering how you transport the oxy and acet tanks?  I have a pickup, but no standup bottle holder?  Any recommendations?

Reply:I am not real sure how safe it is, but when I have to go get new bottles for the company I work for, I use a bungee strap to hold the bottles in a position where they won't move at all.
Reply:I just got the Victor Journeyman kit from weldfabulous and it came with a few extras thrown in by them, but it's a great kit.  I'm sure for what you want to do the super ranger would be great.  I chose weldfabulous because they had a better price than cyberweld, i just looked  up the super ranger there, and they have a better price on this kit also and free shipping.  But, regardless of where you purchase it, I'm confident you will love this kit, I love mine!  Just my opinion though...

Reply:you'll need a larger cutting tip to do 1" and get  at least one larger welding tip...
Reply:When I was still driving my old pickup I built a crude framework out of angle iron to set the cylinders in and used ratchet straps to secure 'em. Those days are over now I have my flatbed truck with a nice heavy-built cylinder rack.  I bought a Victor Journeyman II kit from weldfabulous also, been working great and it was a helluva deal compared to the $700 they wanted at the LWS!
