Been getting enough business now that I need a real welding table... It's ~ 3ft x 7ft and will have a 3/8" top when i'm done! Going to plasma it down to size Monday. Once that is done I'm going to do a bunch of measuring, and I want to cut "X" slots on two sides of the table so I can use some of those Miller ArcStation clamps on it.
Reply:I like it! Keep posting pictures of your progress. I need good ideas.

Reply:Love the Arc Station, have one, don't know how I lived without it.While you are in the build stage consider trailer hitch inserts on at five locations. Two at each end and one in the middle. Then you can attach tools to the male inserts. I have this kind of set up on my truck and it is great for vises, benders, notchers. I also have a killer work bench that weighs at least 800 lbs and I use the same tools on it.Oh, one other thing, there are two kinds of welding table nuts, one assumes tacking projects to the table is proper and then there is the weirdos who don't see it that way.life is good
