okay, I heard bad things about the miller plasma cutters. What is everybody thoughts on these two cutters?
Reply:Miller makes nice equipment......the torches on most Miller plasma systems are produced by Hypertherm....although they are not the exact same torches that Hypertherm uses on their equipment. Hypertherm has 7 different hand plasma systems and 6 mechanized industrial plasma systems. Miller has 3 or 4 models of hand held plasma systems. Most likely if you have heard bad things.....it was related to improper application. Often buyers are more concerned about price than they are about duty cycle and output power requirements to do a particular job......using a 12 amp plasma to cut 1/4" steel will make anyone upset!Maybe you can provide some detail about the issues you have heard about?Jim Colt
