I have some used filtration units, model ACS 24481, by American Cleanroom Systems, which are for sale. Made for supplying air to laboratories and clean rooms, they normally hang above the work area and blow outside air through the filter and down into the work area.Outside dimensions are about 2 feet x 4 feet x 1 foot for units without a prefilter; the PF ones have a smaller chamber on top and use standard 2' x 2' x 1" filters. The main body and lower filter frame are aluminum; the prefilter cover is galvanized.Motors are either 1/3 or 1/2 hp and have variable speed controllers; rated 2.2A, 115v.The inlet tube is (IIRC) 10" diameter; one or more has two inlets.I checked them over last December, but have since lost my notes. I can dig the units out to confirm details for anyone interested. BTW, I don't think these work properly mounted upside down due to the fan rubbing! I figured they might work nicely with a large pickup tube near the work area going to the top opening , maybe with the main unit off to the side rather than directly overhead. These will remove articulate matter, but gases like CO.
