I got inspired by using 1/16" filler rod for pine needles and came up with this little tree; its about 8-10" tall. I recall seeing a post about someone who made tree bark texture which looked better than what I have, and would appreciate any suggestions. Reply:I for one think it's pretty cool looking. Open up the aperture on your camera a a bit more so more light hits it and defines the highs from the darkens ans we get a better look at it but it looks good to me.
Reply:I like it, I used to do bonsai about 30 years ago, something I'd like to get back into one day.It kind of looks like me practicing my stick welding....
Reply:Hi weekend-did mine about  3years ago but this is one is bigger. and i did the same as yours on the leaves, i love bonsai too and i still want to make more this year Attached Images
Reply:Thanks. I especially like your needles more than mine-very realistic! and Are those circles on the ground to the left of the trunk washers? What were you going for in using them?Longevity Tigweld 200SXHobart 135 MigOxy acetylene rig,Victor journeyman torches

Reply:It looks like an art sculpture. Like the pines needles and textures on the bark. Well done!
