So I'll say this at the get-go: this really doesn't have any welding in it (though the tools I useI had to braze together -- maybe that counts? ).But..I like this forum, enjoy seeing what others are working on, and in some small way like the ideaof contributing -- even if its a bit off-course, lets say.I bought an old manual surface grinder that I really hoped was in better shape than it turnedout to be in. Figured I'd bite the bullet and try to breathe a little more life into the thing.I mean, how much more damage could I possibly do? I've never "rebuilt" a machine. This is my first go and decided to film the process -- howeverit might turn out, good or bad.Maybe there's someone out there that might enjoy watching me work my way through it.Below is a link to the 1st part. If interested, 2nd part is also up -- I'm sure it'd be easy to find.-ThisOldTony |
