Just bought a compressor and it has a Sharpe 606 water trap air filter thingy on it. The problem is that it leaking air around where the canister attaches to the base. It has a lip on the canister, and on the plate it attaches to it has a cork ring around it. It just leaks only in one spot that I can tell. Is there some kind of material I can use to make a gasket.... I have already tried silicon gasket in a tube numerous times making sure that both surfaces are clean and I have also tried a sheet of rubber that I cut out and that didn't work. So far the only thing that is somewhat working is a tube of silicone caulk but other still ends up blowing out after a couple days. I can't find replacement gaskets. I don't even know if it even had a gasketPrecision tig 225Millermatic 185 w/ spoolgunLincoln 140Dewalt cold saw
