Needy family at my church (welding tool help)

Hi guys wasn't sure where to put this post.  A man at my church lost his job about a year and a few months ago.  He has a family,  4 kids and a wife.  He was a pipe welder/structural welder for a fairly large company.  He was let go due to some personal issues in there life.  He did not qualify or unemployment, but was able to get food assistance and with a family of. 5 that's a good thing!  Now everything is smoothed out and he is ready to go back to work!  Only problem is all of his tools had to be sold for cash to stay afloat.With that being said he has no internet access as of now, so I said I would reach out an see if  anyone on weld web could help.  He has a welding test the first week of March   He told me it is a monster coupon Stick welded 6010 root and 7018 fill/cap. Carbon steel, Stainless steel, and Inconel all Tig. And a flat 3/8 the thick spray arc test.  He does have a week to complete the tests, and there are a couple more but I can't remember off the top of my head.Here's the dilema he is in.  He asked in church if anyone could donate him some welding equiptment so he could try to pass his tests and provide for his family again.  I have been letting him practice on my miller machine and he def has what it takes.  So here's what I have been able to donate to him so far:*Small gang box*Rod guard tube*File*Chisle*Few pairs of gloves*Green jacket*Couple small klien bags*Channel locks*Wright 12" adjustable wrench*pipe wrap*soap stone/holderI didn't have alot of things but if any of you could spare any welding tools ESP. a grinder, chiping hammer, whip with stinger ECT.  I was just thinking out loud but if you can help in anyway he and his family would be so greatful.Please P.M. me if you can help out it would very appreciated.  Thank you so much guys/gals****could you please close the thread, I would like to just do this with P.M.'s.thanks*****

Reply:I would have to find another way as I would be too embarrassed to go in front of a group of people and ask for that. I have no interest in driving him to work either.
