I'm selling this for someone who won it in a contest. The MiniArc 150 is an inverter-based DC Stick/TIG welder, made in Italy, about 18lbs (sans cables/workleads) and currently retails for almost $1100 from an Ebay vendor as a stick/tig kit. AUCTION LINK Refer to the link for specifics.In a nutshell it is a 115/230 machine, has settings for DC Stick, DC DIG-Stick and DC TIG with Amps adjustable 5-100A (TIG) at 100% duty-cycle (115V) or up to 130A/60% (115V) and 150A/60% on 230V. This is a robust machine. In talking with an ESAB tech, he didn't recall it to be a "problem" unit, mostly "user-error" type of returns (ie: the buyer didn't know how to use it).As mentioned above, this welder is BRAND NEW--well, almost... It was manufactured the 22nd week of 2005. Serial # TTOR522010. It had a 3-year warranty which is now expired and this welder will be sold AS-IS. The man who won it tried stick welding (with no instruction) with one of the included 6013 rods and decided welding was not for him. He also installed the 115 plug end. I hooked a TIG torch of my own to it and after a little fine-tuning, I was able to consume about a foot of 1/16" 70S at which point I was satisfied with the TIG performance for a "touch-start" machine. If you decided you needed more amps, you could install a 230V plug end or create an adapter to use both. Note that this version welder does not have a provision for external controller although there may be a connector inside. The ESAB tech didn't know for sure. He seemed to think it was only an "on-off" option for the TIG arc.The welder includes the items shown in the pics below: welder with power cord and end, owner's manual, carrying case, 10' workpiece lead, 10' stick lead, tube of 1/8" 6013 rods, a Made In USA Prest-O-Lite Flowmeter, a Made In USA HW-17 TIG torch w/gas valve & mini-DIN connector and a matching TIG accessory kit. Note that no "extra" gas hose is included with the flowmeter as the torch hooks directly to it. I'll consider selling without the TIG "kit"...Shipping will have to be determined--the welder with stick accessories and box is about 28lbs unpackaged and the TIG kit adds another 8lbs and will be removed from packaging and put in the box unless you want to pay extra for it to be shipped separately in its original packaging. Add 9lbs for box/bubble wrap for a total of 45lbs shipped from 32738. PM me if interested. Thanks for looking!
