Reply:Sounds like he's just using the reel to roll them up without running the connection through the reel axle. I have thought of this before. If I had space for reels inside the cabinets of my utility body, I would do something like that. Pretty cheap and effective way to get the leads/cords/hoses on reels. I don't see where connecting them up to the machine after un-reeling them is a big deal, so I don't see a need to spend big bucks on reels that put the connection through the axle. Anyways, I dont have room to do that on the truck, so I just coil them up and lay them in the under-bed drawer.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:I made some in the bed of my service truck to roll up the leads. You do have to disconnect the leads to roll/unroll. Not that big of a deal but I am with DR, I aint paying $400 for something that keeps me from turning some twist locks. I got maybe $10 of scrap in these. Attached Images |
