Reply:Sorry, upon closer look at the through hole, the one sided chip breaker and the relief angle, I'd say it's a DEMM turning insert --Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow

Reply:I've just been given a Sandvik Boring bar, with the Code S25T-MWLNR 06using the link provided by wintermute, I can't find out what insert it takes, can you help me.

Reply:Yes, I gess the material is tungsten carbite..Is correct ?
Reply:couldn't tell you if it's a carbide insert, HSS with a coating or something else entirely...about all I can tell you are my guesses as to it's ISO designation. I obviously couldn't even tell you the size specifications without having it in hand to go over with a micrometer.--Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow |
