Does anyone know what size spools of wire they are setup to run from the factory, I know there are adaptors for the bigger spools, but im hoping I can at least run a 2lb or 8lb spool out of the box? Thanks,Jim
Reply:I am running a 40lb spool in mine -- no adapters.
Reply:First of all, congratulation. I think you made a wise choice going with the PM 255 over the PM 215. To answer your question, it looks like from the factory the machine is set up to run an .035 or .045 wire off a 12" spool. To run an 8" spool you will need to purchase this adapter.http://www.mylincolnelectric.com/Cat...eet.asp?p=2197
