Stand for woodworking spindle sander (And some tig practice)

My dad has a woodworking spindle sander that was really needing its own base because the sander itself is 18" tall and all of our benches are 36" so you would need a step ladder to use the thing. The mfg probably sells a base for it but what fun is that.The bottom part is 3/4" x 4" flat bar and the rest is 2" x 2" x 1/4" angle. The miters gave me some problems because it tapers in both directions. I got so aggravated using a trig book and calculator that I just laid it out on the floor with soapstone.I beveled the flat bar on all sides about 1/4" back. The root was put in with 1/8" filler at about 200 amps and the cap was 1/8" filler at about 225 amps. This was my first multi pass tig weld and I feel it came out pretty good.
