If so how is the cut quality? And blade life Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reply:I have one.  Haven't used it much since it throws horrible burning chips everywhere from a standard circular saw, but in the Milwaukee, it would likely be great.Cut quality when I have used it is good.Multimatic 200Ellis 1800Haberle S225 9" cold sawMM 300;  Spoolmate 30A w/ WC-24TB 302GDynasty 280 DX Tigrunner
Reply:Cool. You know I have an Evo rage and have been disappointed in cut quality. But the point about shards flying everywhere is another factor I hate. I think I'm going to try this harbor freight portaband with a Milwaukee blade I just picked up. Maybe make some kind of stand for it. I'm tired of cleaning up metal shardsSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reply:Used several in metal circular saw and dry saw.  Never dissapointed in quality or lifespan .  I have not compared them to other brands.  They are easily accessible, locally
Reply:I use one in my HF metal cutting circular saw that I bought a few years ago and makes a nice cut. Thickest I cut was 1/4'' and worked well. It's great for cutting sheet steel too like 10 gauge. As for life span, actual footage cut was  about 32' of 10 gauge and 12' of 1/4''. Not much footage, that's why I decided on the HF saw. I only used it on flat metal, no angle , tube, or channel.  I didn't know how much I would like a metal cutting circular saw. After buying this I will get a ''REAL'' one when it dies. It does a good job catching the shavings / filings too. Far superior then a regular skill saw with a metal cutting blade.
