Reply:Too much free time I guess... Looks good. However I think that a wooden rack could have been much more appropiate in this case!

Reply:I wouldn't take it personally 17jamato, they're just having little fun.  You're doing well by making things, learning skills, and putting it on the web for folks to see.  Your right, building things definitely beats sitting around playing video games, etc. like most kids these days. Keep the projects coming.

Reply:Years ago. When I wading shop we. Used scrap pieces to build small projects like your.   It helped up practice our fitting and welds.  Keep up the good work.  Very clever the way you used your resources
Reply:ya good idea mine are still bouncing around in a drawer or a bag or in the bottom of a drill index,
Reply:Wow I just reread my post with my glasses on.    Sorry for misspelled words .........Maybe I did have my glasses on ???? Keep up the experimenting young man.Looks good
Reply:Nice job, everybody has to start somewhere. It's not where you start it's where you finish. Keep going with the tools and stay away from the video games. If your looking for something to do ,go find a local guy that has a small machine shop or some type of skilled trade and go ask him if he can teach you . He might make you push a broom for a while to see if you stick it out . But if he sees your willing to learn he will teach you. This is the stuff that isn't taught in school anymore  or learned by playing video games. Just my 2 cents
Reply:Start now, like you seem to be doing. Look at a piece of scrap iron and figure out what you could use it for. Start solving problems before they happen. If some thing is wore, plan the fix in your head before its wore out. This will impress a potential employer or redneck chicks. If you take this advice move into an apartment now. Otherwise your scrap(fix it) pile will resemble a recycling facility.
