Help me pic a compressor

Reply:Which ever you choose I would advise to get a disconnect switch like this. I bought an IR comp from HD and the plastic switch on the unit failed and it ran all weekend with the drain wide open. Reply:The IR is rated at 135psi.  I wonder what cfm it puts out if it's only pumping to 90? Reply:i looked in an old catalog and it has the IR listed as 11.3 @ 90 but there's not really much info on it the 5 hp is listed as 100% cast iron cylinder but no info on the 3 the others i was looking at like the eagle have the newer v style cylinders instead of the I350P 30A spool gun cut master 51  syncro 250 other stuff " take a dog off the street and make him prosper and he will not bite you sad the same cannot be said for man" i didnt use punctuation just to piss you off

Reply:My vote is for the IR the homey depo compressor won't really hold up as well. Never really heard or had any dealings with the other brand.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.

Reply:I bought a Craftsman reconditioned 60 gallon, 3.2 RHP compressor last month for $270 out the door. Only time will tell how it holds up but for now it seems like I got a good deal.
