Came across some old amish buggy horseshoes today and made a coat rack. Thanks to Lanse (chucke2009) for giving me this idea.Sent from my SPH-M950 using TapatalkMiller Dialarc 250 AC/DCWeldcraft A-150VSmith O/P

Reply:Boot rack. Dissolve rust off horseshoes (acid, electrolysis, etc.), buff with wire wheel, weld. Used 1/2" rod for support and 1/8" x 1" bar for feet.

Reply:Cool coat hanger! Like the use of old horse shoes, very creative build. Well done!
Reply:Was at Tractor Supply Company today and saw that they sell horseshoes. Different sizes and all, but basically $8.00 for four. Not a bad deal and they're already cleaned and ready for welding! I think I'm going to start doing that, instead of wire brushing the rust, mud and crud away, plus the nails. What a PITA! $8-16.00 per flower is worth my time.
