So today before I went to exchange my 125cf 75/25 bottle at the local parts store (yes they are an airgas distributor) they're crazy bitch of a owner left the back door open over the weekend and some of the bottles got stolen. And unfortunately my 75/25 exchange. So I told them ill call you after school and see if they had my bottle from airgas yet. I called and they did not. So i went an ate lunch at my favorite mom and pop joint in town. Called when I left and they said they still didn't have it, said it was going to be another hour or so. I had welding to do right after school so by now im pretty irate. I go in and was gonna pay for it and have my dad pick it up when when into town for his 2 packs of camel reds and bottle of dewars12 year. The manager was at the counter when walked in and she absolutely loves me. I get all kinds of deals and free things from her. So she said "lets double check the back."  With a wink and a nudge. So we get back there only to realize that theres still not my bottle. then I looked over at the 300 and said "its a Damn shame airgas won't let me own one of those" but the bottles they had were owner bottles for some dumb airgas reason (I really hate them) she replied "ill tell you what, ill put 100$ in the register and write a ticket that you upgraded your 125 to a 300. Its gonna be our little secret" so after a hell of a time of loading a 300 into the back of my friends Ford fusion. Im now the proud owner of a 300 cubic foot bottle of 75/25 gas. But the catch is my scrawny home built Mig cart is a little sketchy with that monster bottle on the back. So I want to rebuild it. It needs it anyways cause at the time I built the cart I learned that a small scrap pile and consumption of cheap liquor is not the best for a top of the line cart. The cords nudged into brackets on the cart. And where my strap attaches is low for that big bottle. Im gonna cut off the old shelves and clean of paint for welding tomorrow after school. We'll see how far I get. I attached pics of the new bottle next to my 125 Argon. And how cords bump into cross members. The last picture is the cart with a 125 on it when I first built it.Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk

Reply:So just finished up in the shop. Finishes the majority of everything. I know im bout to to get slapped through the comments for the bottom of the cart not having gussets with some kind of angular support. And I have them all cut but I had to come in and study for a biology test tomorrow. But i put everything together so ya'll could see it. Like I said more support is going in tomorrow Sent from my C811 4G using TapatalkLast edited by 7A749; 04-03-2014 at 09:33 PM.

At least that's how I have understood it.Not trying to rain on your parade man. You may wanna check out the details unless she made it clear that it is yours. Airgas does some pretty shifty stuff with cylinder leases & have heard lots of horror stories about them refusing to fill owned cylinders.Good luck with it.

Reply:[QUOTE=Steelwill;3997921]I just had that talk with my gas supplier about larger tanks. I guess I can go one size larger before I have to start leasing tanks .I think its some kind of long term account bs airgas has. But I have enough 75/25 to last me to Christmas  summary of the story, airgas is $hitty. I have a 300. And a better cart Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk
