Made a cuople of calls today looking just for some welding cable.Needed 100' #1.First call $4.27' marked down just for me from $4.97'.Second call to Arigas $3.25'These guys think I was born yesterday ^^^Or have an acount and simply don't care about prices I guessMade one other call  to GTS WELCO a local welding supplier and told them I was looking for about 100' of #1 lead.Right off the bat he gave me a very fair price of $1.97'Went down about an hour later and they did not have #1 in stock.The computer was wrong.GTS Welco gave me 0/1 for the same price.They made their error ~ RIGHT....And I let him set me up with lugs, tweco's and stinger/ground to make some money back.Also got a great deal on #50 +p Lincoln 6010 rods,And some Excalibur #50 excalibur 7018.And bought a new tank of Argon.Anyways, wanted to post about a great experience at a local weld shop that wanted my business and I will be using them for anything I need in the future.Maybe swoop up a suitcase there and a hypertherm 45 next week.GTS WELCO is a damn good welding supplier and if thier in your neighborhood?Give them a call.Cheers,JSMLast edited by jsm11; 01-31-2011 at 04:45 PM.1981 Lincoln SA 200Miller Trailblazer 302gMiller 211 Mig Welder w/ AutosetI'm learning to stick metal together
Reply:We here in central pa have a gts and its no where near as satisfactory of an experience dealing with them. Their reasonable on gas but to buy equipment they have offered me no breaks on pricing even when i have taken in other local supplier quotes or even there price on their website.Thermal Arc Fabricator 210Thermal Dynamics cutmaster 42

Reply:Same here....... The one in Dunnstown is stepping it up for the pipe welders. All kind of pipe welding equipment now. This reminds me, my style 5 tips should be in at $16.00 a tip...ugh I also noticed you can buy Lincoln products at Walmart now.
