I know there are a lot of comparison and reviews but that's not my question. I was set on getting the Lincoln 210MP and have been keeping up on the updates on them and now that I am ready to order I see I can get the Tweco 211i with a free Tig Kit( 4T torch not foot pedal) with Tungstens, Collets, nozzles, etc. for the same price as the Lincoln with no Tig stuff. I know they are both good machines, so would the Tig Kit be enough to get YOU to go Tweco IF IT WAS YOU? I was buying it as a Mig machine but would be nice to already have the Tig stuff to start learning and playing around with.
Reply:I was on the fence about what machine to buy. I ended up getting the Fabricator 211I. I wanted a dual voltage machine and the TIG capability plus free torch closed the deal for me. Do a search of this forum - most folks that have the 211I speak very highly of it.
Reply:So these are CC and CV machines? Three processes out of one machine?DanI hope that when i'm dead and gone, people will remember me and think; "Boy, that guy sure owed me a lot of money!"

Reply:The Tweco is significantly larger and heavier than the Lincoln, but can hold 12" wire reels. The Tweco is made in China, the Lincoln is made in Mexico. But seriously, there are many recent threads comparing these two machines and the Millermatic 211. It would be wonderful if new users would read these threads BEFORE starting new ones. OK, rant over. A few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps |
