Hi, Don't know if this is the right forum to ask this question? I'm wondering, if anyone could publish a chart on the drill bit size to suit the threading taps or know where to find one, I was thinking maybe a 1/32 under the size, But I'm only guessing, Thanks,
Reply:Personally, I prefer the wall charts, but these give the same information, are cheaper and free shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Starrett-Mac...item3cfdf848f5Lincoln PrecisionTig 275Miller 251Miller DialArc 250Bridgeport millHossfeld bender & diesLogan shaperJet 14 X 40 latheSouth Bend 9" 'C'Hypertherm 900Ellis 3000 band saw21"Royersford ExcelsiorTwo shops, still too many tools.

Reply:Just walk into any nut/bolt place or industrial supply store, I'm sure they'll happily give you a smaller chart to stick up in your shop. Buy something, and they might give you a big one
Reply:Thanks Everyone For all the useful and helpful information, I have downloaded a copy, works great. Thanks Josey.
Reply:Be sure to keep a Whitworth chart in your toolbox, I am sure it will get daily use as well. |
