The owners are one of our oldest Steel fabricator shops in Yuma Az (160 miles from Phoenix and same from San Diego). You would ask for Chris or Tom probably to get some info. Reply:Still there yesterday afternoon as I left with mine. I'd be happy to help if need be but really I think it's just $ and hook it up and go... I got my 2 home, one is a '62 and has some minor items missing like the mag cover. Owner said the compression was low. The other one is much nicer, a '65 complete and looks like it would fire off with fresh fuel & oil. It is on a much better trailer also. Reply:Have to order a couple gears & a plunger for the Quick Change Box next month. Then a couple projects that might make a few bux to help pay for the repairs. Reply:Good place to stash a few pics of the ones I did buy... neither one works as is, 62 is worse, with missing mag cap etc. 65 looks like it'll breathe easily soon... WHEN and IF it ever cools down then I'll take the hoods off and see what I can do, pressure wash, change hoses etc. ? for those in the know> re: the first pic> The 65 has some kind of top pieces bolted on over the hood one at each end? Looks kind of like a big rack support or ? I dunno whatzat for?
