I just picked up an idealarc dc 400 from the local lws came with an LN7 feeder and it welds awsome. It is the cv vv model but it does not have the multiprosess switch and that costs around 500.00, as much as I paid for the machine. I was wanting to use multiple toggle switches to shut the feeder down and switch the jumper wire. so I can arc weld with this thing. I have looked at the instructions and it looks like it would work. I just was wondering if somebody has experience with doing something like that, and am I about to let the smoke out of the wires?Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
Reply:Its not going to work. Not to be a jerk but you are saying this is a CV machine, right? I'll stop there.
Reply:as jay o said it wont work. you need cc to run stick.A GRINDER AND SOME PAINT WILL MAKE A WELDER WHAT HE AINT |
