I found an awesome bench vise!

My uncle gave me this Wilton 1755 bench vise. It has 5 1/2 inch wide jaws and weighs 52 pounds. The jaw opening is 5 inch. It is in great condition, and it is made in the USA. The paint is not original, but it looks nice. The handles are straight, and the base swivels 360 degrees with dual lock downs. This vise is awesome! The jaws are in great shape. Reply:Nice vise, but to get the full benefit of its strengths, you might need to attach it to something beefier than 1/4" plywood.

Reply:it is 3/4 inch plywood reinforced with 2 by 4s. I can't find any steel plate around here for a welding table.
