If you are looking at 2 different machines and the specs are all the same except the "Amp Welding Range" then what is the difference between the two machines? what factor does the amperage range play in producing a weld?

Reply:All them specs are meaningless. It's all about how much SMOKE capacity they have don't you see.
Reply:Last year you said you are a welding machine salesman - but you still don't know anything about welders? What are you telling people? I'll rephrase your question: "both these cars have the same exact specs, but this one has a larger engine with more horsepower and torque."Notice the statement contradicts itself. Now apply the same reasoning to two different welders, one has max output of 150 amps, another has a max of 300 amps. You cannot say the specs are the same, and one clearly has an advantage for higher output, the other for portability.Another difference in specs, the 150 max welder can only weld at 150 amps amps at a much lower duty cycle than the larger machine.Dave J.Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance. ~George Bernard Shaw~ Syncro 350Invertec v250-sThermal Arc 161 and 300MM210DialarcTried being normal once, didn't take....I think it was a Tuesday.
