I have a Lincoln SP-130 (220v) that I have been having some trouble getting to work. I brought it to a welding shop and they said to buy a new gun for it. I was looking at guns online and found a gun for 100$, it said it worked for sp100 125 etc but no sp 130. Is the gun the same?? One problem I had was the bolt the holds the gun into the welder broke flush so I will have to fish that out. I really want to get this welder going because it is a nice welder and will help me finish my projects.. Some help would be great, I could get pics if needed.
Reply:Is it a SP-180? Typo? You're saying 220 Volt but listed sp-130. That will help with a start. If it is a 180, I think I've seen where it will still work. Run a search on here, this has been posted before.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:It is a 220 volt, its actually an SP-130T. Weird I know, it worked well though. I order a 10' gun. Tweco style or something, its for Lincoln SP's. I hope it works out... |
