Would anyone recommend a Miller Coolmate 1 ?

Reply:Had a Coolmate 3,(Binzel) and have a Coolmate one now. No issues, and really not as loud as the 3 (imo) I looked at the China made HTP, (Online) and just could not pull the trigger on it. I could see if something is off under the cover of the Coolmate one, then it could be loud, but not the case with mine. I am happy with mine, and blends in sound wise with my Thermal 186. Not the quietest tig, but not the loudest either. Reply:I've had a coolmate 1 at home and 2 at work , and they are real quiet, and do what they are supposed to. so I really don't know what was up withDrf255's. You will be happy with it. Bernard makes  a great cooler too. Reply:Maybe there's a variation or change in the Coolmate 1.  I've had both.  The Coolmate 1 was terribly annoying to me whereas my current Coolmate 3 is not at all.  Found myself always looking to shut the 1 off after/between welds.  With the 3, it doesn't bother me.  Could be a personal thing.
