I thought I had it all figured out, there was U and there was V. From what I understood, U was for soft wires, V was for hard wires. Then I saw there was grooved, knurled, and cogged options for those, which I remember seeing a basic breakdown for what each was for. And I think there's even a couple other options??So for the part numbers, lets say I'm looking at a miller drive roll kit on eBay, and the bag says .035 VK-GR. What does this mean? I've also seen V/VK, and a weird one I was looking at was .035PD-V. Anyone have any literature for these, or a basic breakdown on ID letters and what they're meant for?And a more practical question, how important is it I use the correct drive roll for the wire I'm using? I run solid wire 95% of the time, occasionally use self shielded or dual shield wire.John 3:16(2) Miller Pheonix 456(2) Millermertic 252Dynasty 210DXHobart 210MVPDoringer D350 SA Cold SawScotchman 350LT Cold SawWebb 10x50 MillWebb 15x40 LatheGeka Bendicrop Ironworker
