what are the pros and cons on these welders, The Ranger and Eagle look pretty much the same..
Reply:The salesman at my LWS said the Eagle is a cheaper, lighter duty machine vs the ranger, meant to be sold at Home depot and Lowes. I think he's full of it. It's jst a marketing ploy and he cant match the price... Not that I would buy a Lincoln Ranger anyway.
Reply:Hobart has a slightly better duty cycle. Ranger is the only one of the three that is cc/cv.Mike

Reply:I have the hobart machine and it has done everything I've ever needed it to (backup power and farm code stuff). With that being said I would lean toward the ranger if cc/cv was available for the convenience of being able to use a feeder down the road. |
