Drill bit hand sharpening jig

Just curious. I was sharpening a bit free hand on the sander yesterday and though a little jig to hold it more precisely would be good. Anyone made one? I know there are drill doctors, but I'm thinking something to work with a belt sander or even a bench grinder. 200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.

Reply:I do them up to 3" with a belt sander with 60 grit and my eye.Cut like butter both sides every time.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:I owned one of the drill bit sharpeners Umahunter wrote about, it did a pretty good job even without the recommended grinding wheel.  I liked it; but it became broken in a shop accident.  I might someday buy another.I offer three choices: Good, Fast, & Cheap. Reply:Thanks for the responses guys! Great video. It's the smaller bits that are harder. Maybe it's my eye sight good down the tubes!I'll keep an eye out for the one you posted Uma.
