I was hurt pretty bad at work and dont think I will be goin back to the trade. I have a shade 10 and 12. I just want to see if I get some hits if so I will post the on sunday or monday. Thanks
Reply:Why not just offer them for sale to members right here on the forum? That's what this forum is about, not an advertising venue for ebay auctioneers.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:I will sell them on the site if the offer is right. I Have 450 invested in both of them. I bought them off a guy I worked with he wanted 650 for them start but after a month of offerin I got them
Reply:Since no US company wants to make these, perhaps a foreign concern could duplicate the optical quality and do it for cheap. Technology marches on, and It's been many years since the parent company lost interest.Sell them for furnace observation or whatever, then weldors will buy 'em for welding.
Reply:I'd have a very hard time justifying spending $400 on a 2" by 4" piece of coated glass, no matter how 'nice' the view through it is. It may be $20 better than any other glass filter lense out there, but it can't be $395 better, at least not to me anyways. Good luck.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op

Reply:To the guys that think they the lenses arent woth it, all I do is weld some times I have to fit if my fitter is a idiot. these lenses are more clear than any I have ever used. I have tried the best Millers Speed glass ect. There is nothing that compares. When you drive 500 mi to take a weld test for a job you need see the best you can. these lenses have put food on the table for my family. Yah I can pass the test with out them but when I use them the welding inspector comes by and says oh yah thats the ****. I really dont want to sell them but like I said I was hurt I broke my back in two places and dont know whats in the future for me. these have gone for 360 a piece on ebay. I have heard of guys paying over 500 for one . like I said I have 450 in them so I will sell them for 400 on this site or I will put them on ebay and may get 600 for them. Plus they are so great for tig welding. My email is [email protected]
Reply:I have welded for 12 hour a day with these on heavy wall chrome pipe. I will always stay with my flip down pipeliner hood. You dont need a flasher hood to be a good welder. They say they are 1000 of a second to switch on well that single 1000 of a second can add up over ten or twenty years. One day we will see the damage that slight flash can do to your eyes over the years, they are still pretty new tech.

Reply:I make my living welding, but I don't feel a need to spend that much for a lens. Reply:I had gotten a few of the ao #12 cool blues from my dad when he retired, yeah they are nice, but i've found that my supervisability lenses that cost $1.99 are just as nice, now i'm not talking the trash that lincoln has out now that was made in china, but rather the ones made in the good ole U.S.A. To each their own but I for one dont care for auto-lenses, too much weight, too much money, too much to go wrong! $600 for the pair..seems cheap. seen 1 sell at the refinery here in wood river go for that, makes me wish i could sell the ones i have, and buy that new diesel welder i've been wanting! Something that i could really make some money with
Reply:I put the 10 on ebay search american optical cool blue if any one is interested |
