Hello all.I purchased a new welder today. I've had my eye on an inverter MIG for some time. For the kind of stuff I do, MIG in my opinion is better for what I tend to fabricate/install.http://apac.thermadyne.com/south-pac...ID=1533&brand=I've had a little experience with this machine before I bought my one. Build quality seems very good. Everything that's supplied with the plant is top notch. Other options I was investigating were the Kemppi MinArcMig 180 adaptive at about $1800AU and another Multi-process made by "Weldmaster" called the 182P at a cost of about $1385AU.I paid $980 for the Transmig and I'm happy with my purchase.Has anyone one else had experience/own one of these machines? and if so; whats your opinion on it.Cheers.SkinWeld Engineering. Reply:Had a Cigweld transformer 210se for about 12 years and have now sold it to a friend and is still going strong. Never had a breakdown. Changed liner about 3 times over the years i owned it and put a new on in before i sold it.Should be a good machine.I'm looking at the Kemppi 180 myself for a little portability. Excellent machine also. |
