A O Safety weld cool lens

I tried my buddys weld cool shade 10 lens and then my gold plated praxair lens last fall and the difference in seeing the puddle is absolutely incredible,you see the arc and the puddle without the flareups of the green lens it is in fact cool .having said this i bought one from acehardware last sept and havent looked back.I ordered two more last week and when they arrived there was a note from ace stating the weld cool polycarbonate  lens shade 10 and 12 has been discontinued by 3m and when stock is gone thats all she wroteSo a heads up for anyone else who uses these beautys.Grab em whille you canZebthis is the one Attached ImagesLast edited by Zebadiah; 11-21-2010 at 10:20 AM.Millermatic 200Miller Dialarc 250 ac/dcAll people have the right to stupidity but some abuse the privilege

Reply:No youre thinking of the cobalt blue glass split lens with the gold coat sandwiched  in the centre that people are paying an insane price for on ebay etc.These were the ao safety replacement in polycarbonate .I have been told they are not as good as the cobalt lens.Well that may be true but IMHO if you use an old school helmet with a green lens and try one of these you will wish they were still available .The shade twelve was discontinued in 2009 but now the shade ten is following suit.Whats in stock at any stores is all she wroteso you can do with this info whatever ,like i said the first time its a heads up for those who use themZebMillermatic 200Miller Dialarc 250 ac/dcAll people have the right to stupidity but some abuse the privilege
