I'm shopping for a forklift. In my current location I've been blessed with the [free] use of a nice little 3k solid tire cat.But I'm moving to another facility nearby (around the 15th of January) and will need one once I'm in the new shop.Forklift wish list:3 to 5k lb cap.LP or LP/GAS powered.Pneumatic tires.Lowered mast height under 96"Located in SE USA closer to 28753 the better. My budget is pretty small so I will consider older decent runners to save $$$.Thanks,Brian LeonardAppalachian Ironworks L.L.C.434 Long Branch Rd, Marshall, NC 28753828 649 9966828 702 [email protected]

Reply:Brian, their is place down the road from me that has great prices of forklifts, they are always negotiable. I bought my CLARK IT 60 6000 LB rough terrian lift from them for $3500 cash. Reply:I don't know if this will help you any cause I'm up in NY but: Used 4000 lb Hyster $3100. I used the big, 20000lb capacity, Hysters and Yales at my last job until got laid off when ford stamping plant took our runs back in house, we cut blanks for them to stamp. If I needed a forklift I would get it, we worked them to death 2000-19000lb lifts 16-20 hours a day, the occasional persuading a 50000lb coil into place, and never had a problem with either brand. And some people would really beat on them. |
