Tig welding with a Weldanpower 225 ac/dc

All,I've managed to find the weldanpower High frequency adapter k810 for my Generator welder.  The question I have, is with high frequency isolation do I have to use a Lincoln K 799 module, or can any high frequency box work now?ESAB 252I MultiprocessESAB Powercut 1600Weldanpower 225  Code 8705Victor Oxy/Acetylene Firepower 100Syncrowave 250 1996

Reply:I've got the same question. Looks like redmax posted in 2013. I've been trying to find a good way to tig with my g8000.
Reply:Why don't you scratch tig, it's good for almost everything except aluminum. If you have DC on your welder all you need is a scratch tig torch ( less than $100 ) and argon and your off to the races. I posted a picture a couple days ago of a bead I laid down on 20 gauge sheet with a scratch tig setup. With some practice you will be surprised what you can do with a scratch tig unit.Good luck !

Reply:If you become proficient in scratch tig using a pedal will be easy. I think everyone should learn scratch tig first it's quite common in heavy industry and in the pipe welding field.Lots of you tube videos on scratch tig.

I have a lot on my plate right now, but that will be on the agenda.  In other news... I need to update my Weldanpower AC/DC 225/210/6 thread...
