LINCWELDER AC 180c

I added this to the fleet last weekend50 bucks they guy says it works.  I will have to wire up an outlet and get some rods before I know for sure.I found a manual at Lincoln's web page for a AC-180-K, looks just like this.Anyone know the difference between th "K" and the "C"?The "K" manual is from '69 I think this welder is at least that old.So how did I do?I am going to pop the cover off, bow it out with air and to the cleaning ad lubing that the manual says.Any one use one of these old Lincoln's with the "Arc Striking Control"? Does it help in starting an arc?Any other advice?Thanks again
