..Trying to get all the welder I can get for the money available w/o getting burned. So I'm checkin into the refurb/used market as well. Talked with a guy at Red-D-Arc and seemed like a squared away kindof cat. But as I say in my boat biz, "I've been screwed by some of the nicest people." .. So I thought I'd check here to see if there are any viable options with reputable dealers in this market.. Your helpful input is greatly appreciated.. d:^) Schneeks..ESAB 161 LTSCommunicate & adapt, diggit.?ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ
Reply:I am also considering a purchase from Red-D-Arc. A guy at the chitcago location told me that they get new exterior panels and new wireing. I forget what that actually means though. It will be a while before I am ready to purchase, so if you find any info from there please post it."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:I bought two of my welders as previously used rentals from Red-D-Arc. They checked them over and serviced them before the sale. This was quite a few years ago but both are still working fine. Another advantage other than saving some money was that Red-D-Arc would service/repair only what they sell."The reason we are here is that we are not all there"SA 200Idealarc TM 300 300MM 200MM 25130a SpoolgunPrecision Tig 375Invertec V350 ProSC-32 CS 12 Wire FeederOxweld/Purox O/AArcAirHypertherm Powermax 85LN25 |
