Aux transformer (120v) failed on Lincoln Idealarc 250/250.Called local vendor, he called Lincoln. Transformer obsolete, unavailable.Anyone know of vendor or website where I could acquire such parts?Thanks
Reply:I'd try a repair center, someone who just repairs welding machines not sells them. My local guy often has dead machines that they scavange for parts to repair others. Sometimes they just save the frequently needed parts and junk the rest and other times the keep the whole unit hoping to get another in that they can steal parts from to repair the one they have. I also bet they have an idea who around has some old stock parts and whats available or what can be substituted as a replacement. |
