This is a attachment I made to dig mulberry and wild cherry sprouts out of my other bushes. Cutting them off at the ground only makes them come back stronger. You push the spade in to the ground under the tree to be removed, lower the forks and it pops out of the ground. Constructed out of 3/8" steel with 3/4" bolts to hold it on. Yes, I did drill holes in my forks with my mag drill. I considered hard facing the cutting edge but it's holding well so far. Dan Attached ImagesManipulator Of Metal
Reply:That's bad *** right there.
Reply:Clever and simple. Good job.
Reply:Awesome. My Kubota is gonna get one of those. You can paint yours green and I'll paint mine orange.Did you notch out the center for some additional fork stops?Based on the size of the tractor in your picture, I have hopes of it working on mine. I took the bucket off and repair/weld/retrofitted a fork attachment for a skid steer to fit my loader. That was my first major project with fabrication and welding and you have shown the way for me to like it even more.Thanks.

Reply:I sandwiched the forks between the plates and left a little slop. It fits almost too tight. When I welded in the angle the bottom curled up pretty bad. I suggest leaving the cutting edge about 4" long, weld it up, straighten the edge then finish the cutting edge. Dan Attached ImagesLast edited by DanD78; 07-01-2014 at 06:44 PM.Manipulator Of Metal
