If a potential welding job says you have to pass a blueprints test in addition to a weld test what exactly does that entail? Just being able to read how to layout the metal and then weld symbols?Thanks.
Reply:That's what I would guess.
Reply:I took one at my 1st real welding job along time ago. Most of mine was finding dimensions on a blueprint that were not clearly marked out. Also some of it was verbal as in tell me how you would fit this. I'd say in those 2 things they're going to know what you're bringing to the table. Good luck for sure!
