Muffler Change?

I have posted here recently about my Weldanpower 225 g7 b&s . I want to know if I can take off the two mufflers and pipe both of them into one. I had it in the back of my truck the other day and the exhaust shoots right against my back window and is discoloring the paint below the window. If so what muffler should I use and where do I find it. Thanks for your time. -Jake
Reply:Those are the ones that have pipe thread in the exhaust ports right? About 1/2 of the ones I've seen have something rigged up with pipe fittings. They all ran just fine. I've even seen a hole cut into the bed of the truck and the exhaust plumbed into the the trucks exhaust system. These are some of the loudest welders I've ever ran and any thing short of straight pipes helps.
Reply:The mufflers are flanged, not threaded. I had to check to make sure. I dont know what to do. -Jake

Reply:Just bought one, tore down.  However, they had the coolest muffler setup ever.  they took rigid electrical conduit bent from each output of the exhaust.  brought them together into a motorcycle muffler.  the guy i bought it from put up metal buildings and did a good bit of inside welding.  he said you could hardly hear it.  i'll try and get some pictures posted up here of it.
