Hi Folks,I am looking to get into welding on a tight budget and was thinking of starting off learning the stick. Not the easiest I hear, but it sounds like used machines can be bought cheap. So...that's where I'll start. My question is, I have found a Lincwelder AC-180 that someone has for under $100. It's an oldie, but it looks to be in good shape. I'm guessing made in the '50's. It has the continuous setting dial on the front, a switch for "low line voltage", and a setting for "arc surge". Anyone have any experience with this one? How much different is this one from an AC only Idealarc? Thanks |
