do I need to put the impulse pump on the walbro carb. if the fuel tank is above the carb.?

Reply:I wouldn't think that it would be a necessity. I have a fuel pump on a 10 horse Kohler, but the tank is mounted above it, though I am sure it would work fine without it, as I have had lots of 5 horse motors with no pumps that ran fine.
