I am going to open up this machine and blow the dust outWhat are the specs for primary and secondary transformer windings ?Just an ohm number to work with before I plug it in. Also, can you tell me the age of this code 7351-411ThanksLast edited by grey; 01-08-2009 at 11:25 AM.
Reply:I have searched and found confusing and conflicting information on how to read these date codesHas anyone taken the selector knob apart? It looks easy. I might try to fix what what I have. Most of the protruding part is still there but has been eaten by vice grips. I think screw and a window handle from a 1972 Ford Maveric might work just as well.I looked for suppliers but didnt find a price just part numbers.
Reply:Apparently code 7351 covers several years.here is an example of what lincoln does to confuse mehttp://content.lincolnelectric.com/p...of_Machine.pdfPage 5--------made in the 11th month of a year that had a "4" in it. Okay. The parts list show 14 different variations of this machine. 7351-411 seems to be in the middle somewhere (if there is any logic to the code scheme) When were the earliest made?
Reply:grey,Referring to your unit code #7351 on pg 2, the correct parts listings are under column #8 on pgs 3 & 4.As for the actual year of manufacture, seeing as the new system was put in place in '93 per the bulletin, the '4' would denote '84, '74, etc. but I wouldn't know when the earliest '-S' units were made.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:yes I did. I dont have a camera, or the knowledge to use one.which cables? The power supply or the leads?
Reply:Date of manufacture would be November 1974. Mine is 7351-410 and the information I got from Lincoln said October of 1974.Don |
