hello again Ijust bought a lincoln ln 25 code#10233 am gonna run it off a 1979 sa 200 do I need a cv adapter?? If so what is it and what does it do ???
Reply:It will depend on what wires you intend to use. Some will run fine on CC but the voltage sensitive wires will need true CV output.The wire feed module gives you CV output.JTMcC.
Reply:Im open to suggestions I just tried 045 NR-211-MP with no gas it worked ok would like to run hard wire 023 or 035 maybe with gas I have a bottle of argon for stainless or do i need 75/25 mix I would like to run small wire on thinner metal like 1/8 inch what should I try ????????
Reply:We don't use mig for anything so I'm no help whatsoever there.You will need CV output for that tho and I'd talk to people who've tried it with that machine and see how it worked for them before I bought anything. Wire Feed Modules are around $1400 new. You may have better luck buying a small mig machine instead. If you are wanting to run mig outside I can tell you that with gas shielded flux core it's difficult with just about any small breeze blowing.JTMcC.
