Needed to move this saw around and dragging was not an option, nor was the junk wheels sold by Sears. I like the total lock casters, the only problem is they have a wide swing (radius) so I had to go under the saw rather than to the side, going under at stock leg length put the table of the saw way too high, so...........amputate the legs 5" and build a base for the saw and wheels.
Reply:The title made me wonder, what you were doing up on a table saw ?
Reply:Put some expanded metal in that base and you could keep all the saw related stuff under there.

Reply:I like the factory made stand on my dad's saw. 2 fixed wheels on the infeed side with a single wheel and foot lever to raise it on the outfeed side. Push the lever down, roll the saw around, then release the lever and the saw sits on rubber feet. Once on the rubber feet there's no movement in it.

Reply:I've got my table saw set up the same way. One the title, made me cringe, I fluted my right thumb with a shaping blade in a table saw. One second complete thumb, next semi-thumb. Originally Posted by BlueweldersThe title made me wonder, what you were doing up on a table saw ? |
